Charitable Permit
|
- Applicants must have written permission or authorization from the location that solicitation will be conducted.
- All food items (package or non-package) will require a temporary food permit from the Liberty County Environment Health Department
- Applicants must attach a copy of the corporate charter and by-laws, or a copy of the tax-exempt status 501-(C)(3) letter from IRS; or have maintained in the city a continuous existence as a charitable or religious organization for a period of one year prior to the date of application submitted.
- No fee is required for this permit.
- Application must be turned in at least 3 days prior to the date of the fundraiser.

Carwash Permit |
- Car wash must be located and operated on property owned or leased by the person or charitable organization to conduct such car wash
- Applicant must get approval from the Zoning Department to conduct car wash at said location
- Applicant must supply a copy of IRS non-profit status designation
- $35.00 permit fee is required

Special Permits |
- Special Permits are issued for certain events requiring approval from the Mayor and City Council. Examples are:
- Circuses
- Carnivals
- Live Entertainment
- Tent Revivals
- Charity Walks
- Festivals
- Public Auctions
- Car Shows
- Submit request in written form to Business License clerk, addressed to Mayor and City Council. Information must be written in detail explaining type or activity, location, times, hours, fees, etc.
- Applicable fees may apply.

Farmer's Permit |
- Applicant must have written permission from property owner to sell at location
- Applicant must supply a copy of Grower's Permit from the Department of Agriculture
- Must be renewed on a monthly basis
- No fee is required for this permit
