- Complete application for business license
- Applications must be signed and notarized
- Applications must be approved by the Inspections and Fire Department
- Food establishments must obtain a food permit from the Health Department
- Convenience stores must obtain an agricultural permit from the Department of Agriculture in Jesup, GA

- Submit a typed memo to the zoning dept describing type of business
- Approval will be made by the Zoning Department
- Bring approved license to the business license office to purchase

- Check with Zoning Dept at Department of Inspections to be sure location is permissible to sell alcoholic beverages
- Complete application packet
- All applications must be signed and notarized
- Submit application and all fees to business license clerk
- Application will be submitted by the clerk to Hinesville Police Dept, Zoning and Inspections Dept, for approval and classification
- Application will then be submitted to city council provided all preliminary checks are completed

- Find address you are interested in using for business (Transient Merchant)
- Authorization sheet from owner of the property you are requesting to use
- Peddler's license applications need to be taken to Hinesville Police Department for background check
- If selling food products- a food permit is required from the Health Department
- If selling seafood products- a permit is required from the Department of Agriculture
