Safety Talks

The Hinesville Fire Department promotes safety throughout the community regardless of the age group.  We have several programs to utilize based on the needs or age of the participants.

Some of the topics discussed:

Disaster Preparedness Training

Disaster Preparedness Training is offered to all elementary schools in Liberty County .  It provides information on how to react to different types of emergencies; such as fire, flood, thunderstorm, tornado, earthquake, and winter storms.

Speakers Bureau

Fire Department personnel will speak to high schools and civil groups about fire safety and awareness.  This is a free service.  Please call the Fire Department for scheduling at (912)876-4143.

Hazard House

The Hazard House is a new fire safety teaching tool we are using at the Hinesville Fire Department.  It incorporates an eye catching model of a multi-level family home.  It teaches individuals how to take a home with numerous hazards and make it a safer home.  The Hazard House is usually presented to elementary students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  However, this free service is also available to any group or organization in the county.
