Bar Cards |

| Bar cards are required by the city to work in establishments serving alcohol. Obtaining a bar card requires a criminal history check, a $25.00 fee for a new card, and a picture identification. Cards are issued Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. No bar cards are issued on city holidays. | ||
Criminal/Driver's History Checks |

| A criminal history check may be obtained at the Hinesville Police Department. Individuals requesting this information must have a picture identification and pay a $20.00 fee (cash only).
Individuals requesting a driver's history need to inquire with the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state the license was issued. |

House Checks |

You can call the Police Department to have your home placed on the House Check List. This list is a coded printout that is given to the beat officer assigned to your particular area. The officer rides by and checks on your home while you are away. It is suggested that you also have a trusted friend, neighbor or relative check your home.
