Our Mission |
The mission of the Hinesville Police Department is to provide professional law enforcement services to all citizens of Hinesville. To attain this goal the department strives to enforce the law in a fair and impartial manner and support the constitutional rights of all persons. The department recognizes that no law enforcement agency can operate effectively without the support of the citizens it serves. Therefore, we solicit and encourage the cooperation of all citizens in our efforts. |
| DARE Program |
| The D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program is taught to 5th Graders in all the schools. The program teaches children about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco. D.A.R.E. also helps kids learn about peer pressure and self-esteem. It instructs how to make good choices and avoid violence. |
Operation Citizen Watch |
Neighborhood watch's are being form in many communities to help rid the city of criminal activities.

| G.R.E.A.T. Program |
The G.R.E.A.T. program is taught to all 7th graders. This has a strong anti-gang and violence message.
