Sanitation Collection Guide

Collection Time

All garbage, trash, recyclables, yard trimmings, furniture and appliances for collection must be placed along the edge of the street by 6:00 a.m. on collection day. Please separate yard trimmings from regular household garbage. Collection times will vary according to many conditions, but in no event will a collection truck arrive before 6:00 a.m.

Holidays

Normal scheduled refuse will be picked up on all Holidays .

 Items Picked Up

• Household garbage--items collected from your kitchen and bathroom
• Dry trash--wood, metal, bulk items, etc.
• Yard Waste--limbs, leaves
• Cardboard boxes--broken down and packing paper placed inside
• Appliances--refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, etc.
• Junk--toys, clothes, household items, etc.
• Furniture--mattresses, dressers, chairs, couches, etc.

 Items Not Picked Up

• Commercial construction debris
• Liquid waste
• Medical waste
• Any other hazardous waste
