The Parks and Grounds Department is responsible for maintenance of the parks, islands and other grounds in the city to include the following services :

• Cutting grass
• Cutting weeds
• Edging curbs and sidewalks
• Trimming shrubs
• Spraying weed killer where needed
• Keeping flower beds maintained
• Keeping trash picked up and containers emptied downtown and in parks
• Maintaining the fountain at Bradwell Park
