City Council Meeting

The Hinesville City Council meets at City Hall in the Main Conference room every month on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

The agenda will be posted by Noon of the day prior to the City Council Meeting.

Agenda Placement

If you desire to be placed on the City of Hinesville Council Meeting Agenda, please call the City Manager's Office before the close of business on the Thursday prior to the City Council Meeting.

There are some limitations on addressing the council when placed on the agenda. They are as follows:

1. Any person not a member of the City Council who desires to address the City Council shall first secure permission of the presiding officer to do so.
   
2. This person shall step up in front of the rail, give his/her name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record and direct his/her remarks to the City Council as a body rather than to any particular member.
   
3. Such remarks shall be limited to ten (10) minutes unless additional time is granted by the City Council.
