Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Sub-Recipient Program
About the Program
The City of Hinesville is funded annually by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as an Entitlement Community. The mayor and Council often elect to allot the maximum, 15% of the award, to local public service agencies. These funds are available to nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status through a competitive application process to further existing public service programs.
An announcement of application availability will be made via the City website and the Coastal Courier. All new agencies (those not funded in 2010) must attend a mandatory sub-recipient workshop in order to submit an application. |
