CPR / First Aid
Classes
The Hinesville Fire Department teaches CPR / first aid and babysitting training for emergency classes. Please visit this website often to see class dates as they are scheduled!

All classes are subject to cancellation due to lack of participation. For more information, contact Wendy Bruce at the Hinesville Fire Department at (912) 876-4143 or visit her at the Fire Department at 103 Liberty Street.

Health Care Provider CPR (DOES NOT include First Aid)
  • For anyone in or going into Health Care or Medical professions
  • Cost: $20
  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Classes are held Saturdays (when scheduled) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Certification is good for two years through the American Heart Association
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) people in order to have a class
  • Maximum of fifteen (15) people per class

CPR / First Aid
  • For the general public 
  • Cost: $20
  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Classes are held Saturdays (when scheduled) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Certification is good for two years through the American Heart Association
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) people in order to have a class
  • Maximum of fifteen (15) people per class

Pediatric CPR / First Aid
  • For anyone in or going into Day Care professions
  • Cost: $20
  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Classes are held Saturdays (when scheduled) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Certifications is good for two years through the American Heart Association
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) people in order to have a class
  • Maximum of fifteen (15) people per class

Babysitting Training for Emergencies
  • For students 11 years to 16 years old interested in babysitting
  • Cost: $15 (includes lunch)
  • Must be between 11 and 16 years old
  • Classes are held on Saturdays (when scheduled) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Students 12 years old and older will get a CPR card
  • Students 11 years old will get a certificate
  • Certification is good for two years through the American Heart Association
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) people in order to have a class
  • Maximum of fifteen (15) people per class
  • Must have at least one volunteer adult chaperon per class
