Hinesville Military Affairs Committee (HMAC)
Yellow Bow with Fort Stewart patch
Hinesville - Home of Fort Stewart and the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized)

We want to let you know what our City is doing to bring the civilian and military communities together. The purpose of the Hinesville Military Affairs Committee is to provide support to soldiers and their families while they are stationed here and during the Marne Division's busy deployment schedule. We continue to nurture that relationship by working as a team with Fort Stewart, the City of Hinesville and surrounding area communities.

We have coordinated many programs in support of military members and their families, especially those who deploy. Working hand-in-hand with Fort Stewart, the committee has sponsored farewell picnics, welcome home and 4th of July celebrations, initiated the making and placing of yellow bows, organized the Deployment Discount Program, participated in refurbishing the Warriorr' Walk guidons and provided flowers for military funeral services.

Many of these projects are on-going. Volunteers are always welcome. If you wish to become a part of this work, please join us!

The Hinesville Military Affairs Committee regularly meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the squad room of the Hinesville Police Department located at 123 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
