Requesting a Permit
Applications for electrical, mechanical or plumbing permits may only be made by (and will only be issued to) an individual holding a valid State electrical, mechanical or plumbing license or to an individual performing work on a single-family dwelling that is occupied by the applicant, provided that all work pursuant to such a permit be in conformity with all provisions of the codes.

Generally for residential construction, two copies of the site plan, floor plan, wall section, and blueprints are required at the time we receive your application to build. Copies of your business license along with positive identification are required when applicable. A list of your subcontractors is needed; i.e., plumber, electrician, heating and air professional, framer, landscaper, drywall installer, brick mason, cabinet installer, concrete installer, insulation installer, painter, roofer, and tile / floor covering installer.
Commercial Permit Applications
Construction plans and specifications shall comply with the current edition of the State of Georgia Minimum Standard Building Code.
