Public Service Agency Program

Background

The City of Hinesville created the General Fund Public Agency Service Program to provide funding for worthy agencies that greatly impact the community and is available to nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status through a competitive application process to further existing public service programs.

General Fund Program

The City of Hinesville is looking to fund nonprofit Public Service Agencies with General Funds. Funds will be allocated to carry out activities for the 2021 program year July 2021-May 2022.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • IRS designated 501(C)3
  • Serve Hinesville residents
  • Demonstrate a funding deficit in providing service
  • Properly registered and licensed to conduct business
  • Assist low-to-moderate income individuals or families
  • Have written programmatic and financial policies/procedures
