Austin Martin
Councilmember Martin is a senior and member of the National Honor Society. In his spare time, he enjoys track, baseball, acting and singing. He plans to finish his education, then start his own business. Austin says that he could see himself in politics one day. This is his second term with the Hinesville Youth Council.

Hope Williams
City Clerk Williams is a senior, who has a variety of interests ranging from drama club, vocal performance, and cheer leading. Her ambition drives her to continue to research opportunities that will aid in the advancement of her community, peers and herself. To take a healthy break from it all, she slows down by listening to music and taking walks. Following high school, Hope desires to get her bachelor’s in psychology and further her education towards her PhD to become a counselor or psychologist.

Amiyah Durrence
Councilmember Durrence is a junior, who demonstrates excellence in her academic and athletic performance. Amiyah is committed to serving her peers as a Representative on Student Council and Team Leader on her varsity softball team, along with her participation on cross country and soccer team. Following high school, Amiyah would like to attend Florida State and major in criminal justice in hopes of becoming a lawyer.

Timothy Christensen
Councilmember Christensen is a senior, who serves in leadership capacities in the classroom and on the field. From dual enrollment and student council to team captain on his cross-country, basketball, and track teams, Timothy is no stranger to putting his best foot forward. He intends to keep up the momentum starting with his service on the Hinesville Youth Council board.
